DESCRIPTION:\nRick will be sharing a unique perspective on issues that concern our clients and community.  He will be discussing the current interest rate environment, what role banks play in the interest rate hikes/adjustments, and what this means for our community.  In addition to general interest topics, he will touch on how to partner on estate planning issues such as business succession planning and when/how to involve the bank in that process.  A time of question and answer will be provided as well.\n \n \n \nMr. McCarty joined Oak Valley Community Bank in 1996, leaving in 1997 for a two-year stint in the accounting department of Del Monte Foods Corporation. He returned in 1999 as the bank's Chief Financial Officer and later took on a dual role of Chief Administrative Officer. In 2016, McCarty passed the CFO accountabilities and title to Jeff Gall and was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the bank. McCarty has over 20 years of banking experience and has a B.S. in Finance from California State University, Stanislaus.\n \n \n
